I’ve been following Doms work for quite some time now and was super stoked that he basically offered his weekend working on the art for the game, which frankly came out amazing!
The game itself is another small „Broughlike“ which uses my „sliding card decks“ idea to add another level of depth to the dungeon traversal.

Spell tiles that surround the game board depict which actions you can take in order to defeat the (cute) skeletons and finally the Bone King himself. The game was made in 6 days. I’m quite happy with the design and obviously the art, but I wish I had more time to ballance the game. Right now there are some very cheesy tactics to corner either the sekletons or your character and safely defeat them from range.
I think a nice add on would be a hunger clock where after you take too long to open the exit, ghosts should spawn that can avoid walls and will straight up come for you. All in all it was another fun #7DRL following my line of #7DRL games 2016 Hook & Shield, 2017 King of Nothing and 2019 The Kings Carriage.
Please check out the game on Itch.io and let me know how far you come!
